Novell has been teaching for more than 20 years. He still studies Internal Kung Fu. He teaches all mental, physical and spiritual aspects of Taoist martial arts. Novell stresses practical use of martial arts for self-defense. He emphasizes traditional methods of Pa Kua Chang, Hsing - I Chuan, and Tai Chi Chuan. Sensitivity, Timing, and proper controlled use of power and technique are emphasized. The Taoist marital arts can give one great health, practical self-defense and peace of mind. Novell has been a student of Sifu Rudy Curry Jr. studying Pa Kua Chang, Tai Chi, Hsing - I and Chi Kung. He has trained with Grand Masters B.P. Chan (Pa Kua Chang), William CC Chen (Tai Chi Push Hands). He is training with Yin Style Pa Kua Chang Master Xiao Ping Chen.
